Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring access to a high-quality education
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and adapted curriculum for online learning
• Offer targeted support and accommodations to help students succeed in the virtual classroom
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention plans
• Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support their child's educational journey
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in special education and online instruction

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education
• Special Education teaching licensure for Ohio
• Experience in virtual instruction or a willingness to learn
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students with diverse needs succeed
• The ability to create an inclusive and supportive online learning environment
