Senior Actuary - Large Group Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of trend analytics, documentation, and communication to support market actuaries in assumption setting during the large group rate review
• Provide local market actuarial support to the Central Region, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop market-specific growth strategies
• Participate in the National Large Group Rate Review process, providing valuable feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement
• Build and facilitate the creation of initiatives to drive down cost structure, taking full ownership of complex assignments and acting as a trusted lead for the market

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of actuarial experience
• ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) or FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) designation
• Strong technical, analytical, and financial skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior healthcare experience and ability to think creatively and use multiple data sources to assess and develop business strategies
