Social Media Manager
Tradition Coffee Roasters is hiring immediately for a full-time Social Media Manager who sees content as storytelling and creativity as a craft. This position offers some flexibility to work remotely when needed, but with in-person creative collaboration and opportunities for hands-on filming, photography, and live content capture. If you have long term vision while executing in a face paced, fun environment, (and you love the kraft of coffee!) you are who we are looking for! You’ll report directly to our founder — a former professional in TV, film, and stunt work, with deep roots in performance, story structure, and visual storytelling. You will work within a collaborative team that is passionate about growing our brand. We’re not just looking for someone to “post.” You’ll be telling our story, sharing our journey and highlighting the brand and the lifestyle around it, while working closely with our graphic designer and ad team. We want someone who lives and breathes creativity, understands how to move people through content, and wants to grow with a brand that’s as passionate about community as it is about coffee. We are poised for growth and looking for the right person to help us get there, while developing the team to do so! We recognize this is not a 1-person job, but we want to find the right person to develop a winning strategy and team.
What You'll Do
- Create a long term strategy around social with short and long term objectives. Manage and grow our presence on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Film, photograph, edit, and post daily content that brings the brand’s story to life. We have some content creators we work, so creating a cohesive team through positive management.
- Track analytics and adapt strategies to platform algorithm changes
- Coordinate podcast guest bookings, prep content, and post promotional clips as it pertains to the overall development of the strategy.
- Cover live events, tastings, café happenings, and community engagements.
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Opus Clip, Descript, etc.) to improve speed, reach, and content quality
- Collaborate with a creative founder and passionate team to shape long-term content strategy
Who You Are
- Organized, long term visionary with a pulse on the fast pace of social media.
- Strong management skills to manage up and down, with confidence in their role.
- Passionate about social media, content, and creative expression
- Comfortable filming yourself or others, crafting narratives from raw footage
- Obsessed with staying ahead of trends, shifts in engagement, and platform changes
- An incredible communicator who is comfortable both giving and receiving feedback
- Clear communicator who can take direction, give direction and bring original ideas to life
- Fluent or eager to learn AI-powered workflows that optimizes your workflow
- Experienced in video editing (CapCut, Adobe, Descript, InShot, etc.)
Let Us Know If You Have:
- Degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing or Social media
- Experience with podcast coordination, influencer communication, or branded storytelling
- Administrative skills to manage bookings, schedule posts, and assist in outreach
- Experience or ability to learn software tools like Social Snowball, Notion, Klaviyo, or Trello
