What your day will look like: • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable laws • Interview, hire, and train associates • Plan, assign, and direct work • Appraise performance • Address complaints and resolve problems • Builds positive associate morale • Develop hourly associates as leaders to help in directing work area • Actively supervising and directing associates on the production lines to build their skills while working toward continuous improvement • Enforce and comply with all Company policies and procedures • Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures and to determine adequacy of stock levels • Issues written and oral instructions • Effective use of all maintenance operating systems up to and including Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Production Line Monitoring System (PLMS) • Strong collaboration with other production support teams • Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management What you need to succeed: • Minimum age 18 years old • Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job • Ability to read, write and speak English • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology • Strong leadership and organizational skills • Proven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associates • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required • Proficient knowledge in the operation of continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure • Ability to effectively adapt to change • Frequent walking/standing • Frequent exposure to water, weather, and noise CCBCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled.
