The Multi-Domain Combat Systems (MDCS) Market Segment of the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors (IWSS) line of business is looking for an experienced contracts negotiator to provide contracts negotiation and administration support for the Missile Defense Systems (MDS) subsegment. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day contract administration and leading contract negotiation, ensuring that all obligations are met as well as providing support for future proposals. The candidate must be a strategic thinker, able to effectively coordinate with Lockheed Martin program, technical, and business management teams. In addition, the successful candidate will evaluate contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations. They will maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties and ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.WHY JOIN US

- Experience in Contracts or a related function
- Experience in drafting, interpreting, and reviewing terms and conditions
- Experience in leading a negotiation team
- FAR/DFARS knowledge
- Demonstrated problem solving experience and ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure
- Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position
- Excellent communication/interpersonal and customer skills, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with functional and program counterparts
- Experience in drafting, interpreting, and reviewing terms and conditions which minimize risk and maximize return on sales
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
- Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and customers
- Ability to make effective presentations to executive leadership
- Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions and providing guidance to the program team in contract execution
