Associate Technical Product Manager
About vidIQ vidIQ helps YouTube creators grow with data-driven insights and tools—reaching millions of users. Our mission is to be a smart copilot for creators, and we’re looking for a hands-on Associate Product Manager who can leverage AI to build impactful solutions—even if you’re fresh out of school. Your Impact As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll take on real projects that directly shape how creators use vidIQ daily. For example, you might:
- Build an Analytics Dashboard to surface key metrics like watch time or engagement trends—giving creators the info they need to grow.
- Prototype a Workflow Shortcut that automates keyword research or thumbnail testing, using AI to reduce repetitive tasks.
- Improve Onboarding so new creators quickly discover vidIQ’s most valuable tools.
You’ll use AI (e.g., ChatGPT) to speed up prototyping, gather user insights, and even write production code—letting you focus on high-impact decisions. You’ll contribute to these core metrics:
- X% increase in free-to-paid conversions
- Y% decrease in subscriber cancellations
- Z% increase in users returning to key features
What We’re Looking For
- Hacker’s Spirit: You love building stuff—whether that’s coding side projects, winning hackathons, or tinkering with AI, and either won money at a hackathon or made >$100.
- Technical Curiosity: You might not have formal coding experience, but you can write (or prompt AI to write) production code to validate ideas in a short amount of time.
- Data-Driven Mindset: You’re comfortable analyzing data—running simple A/B tests or using AI tools to glean insights.
- Creator Empathy: You genuinely care about solving problems for content creators because you are a creator with 500+ subs/followers (or someone very close to you).
