Lead and oversee technology audit initiatives to ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of American Express' technology systems and processes. Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans, strategies, and methodologies to assess and mitigate risks associated with technology systems and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential areas of risk and develop effective control measures to minimize risk exposure. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to continuously enhance the company's technology audit processes. Effectively communicate audit findings, recommendations, and insights to senior management and stakeholders. Provide guidance and support to technology teams in implementing and maintaining strong internal controls and risk management practices. Conduct regular audits and reviews of technology systems, processes, and controls to evaluate their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and external audit partners. Monitor and track the implementation of corrective actions and remediation plans to address identified risks and deficiencies.
