Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your role will involve engaging with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities ? Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. ? Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. ? Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to payment procedures. ? Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment. ? Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food and beverage items served. ? Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. ? Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while maintaining effective time management during busy periods. Qualifications ? Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred but not required. ? Familiarity with food service or food preparation is a plus. ? Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. ? Strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. ? Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is desirable. ? A friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers. ?
