Transportation Business Mgr

Job Overview Under general direction of the Senior Manager Transportation Business, manages the development and execution of transportation-related predictive modeling, data strategy, reporting, analysis, and executive presentations. Applies advanced quantitative analyses to optimize parking products, real-time demand forecasting, and operational efficiency for the airport’s transportation services. What you will be doing: Leads a team of analysts focused on transportation and parking strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. Drives change management initiatives by identifying business risks and opportunities, leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, and building a competitive advantage. Oversees the collection and analysis of data from various sources, utilizing Business Intelligence tools to generate insights on trends, forecasts, market share, and customer satisfaction within the airport, and across industry trends. Develops and oversees the creation of comprehensive reports, demand forecasting, parking product operations, and analyses that provide strategic recommendations to senior management, and continuously identifies optimization opportunities. Researches, analyzes, and leads the creation of new parking products, collaborating with the internal departments such as the Marketing Department to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities. Conducts thorough research on relevant markets, financial data, and operational trends to forecast future business activity and inform strategic decisions. Manages, develops and evolves computer and analyst-generated predictive models to provide actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership. Manages analysis exposure in parking operations, develops strategies to minimize risks, and evaluates the operational impacts of various initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Oversees the development and refinement of data models that support executive decision-making, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and aligned with business needs. Prepares and delivers compelling presentations to internal stakeholders, including senior and executive leadership, to communicate findings, insights, and strategic recommendations. Manages relationships with key internal and external vendors, including airport valet services, off-airport parking permittees, and other partners within the Transportation Business Unit, collaborates on operational improvement and ensures alignment with business goals. Leads efforts to track and analyze off-airport parking trends, including occupancy, pricing, and program performance. Performs other related duties as assigned. What you need: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Data Visualization, Computer Science, or a related field. • Five (5) plus years of experience in business administration, business intelligence, data or computer science, finance, or a related industry. • Three (3) plus years of supervisory experience. • Any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above. • Valid Class C driver's license. • Knowledge of transportation principles and industry standards. • Knowledge of quantitative modeling, forecasting, and evaluation methodologies. • Knowledge of transportation and parking industry trends, economic data, and operational impacts. • Skill in using data analysis tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to read, interpret, and explain financial reports, balance sheets, legal documents, rules, regulations and related documents. • Knowledge of contract management and procurement processes. • Knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry, including its operations, distribution channels, and business processes. • Ability to present complex data and analysis in a clear, concise manner to internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to plan, coordinate, and supervise the work of others, ensuring high performance and alignment with business objectives. What we desire: • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Data Visualization, Computer Science, Retail Management, or a related field. • Supervisory experience in a data analysis or transportation management role. • Project Management experience or relevant certifications. • Experience preparing and delivering presentations to diverse audiences, particularly senior and executive management.
