About the position Coalition Technologies is seeking a talented and dedicated freelance writer/copywriter/editor to join our remote team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative, industry-leading team focused on delivering outstanding quality services to our clients. As a freelance writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-driven content that aligns with detailed, client-specific guidelines. Your projects will primarily involve writing web pages for eCommerce and lead generation business sites, including category pages, product descriptions, and blog posts. Our clientele spans various industries, including fashion, skincare and beauty, tech and software, finance and investing, law, education, home improvement, automobiles and motorcycles, health and wellness, and digital marketing. Writers with a background in these specialized fields are strongly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will possess excellent English writing skills and a passion for producing engaging, creative, and ROI-driven content. You should have at least two to four years of professional, non-academic writing experience and a solid understanding of how to blend SEO best practices with brand priorities. Research skills are essential, as you will need to gain a strong understanding of various industries to create compelling content. Candidates must be prepared to provide portfolios featuring published work, showcasing their writing capabilities. Once an offer has been extended, writers will be required to complete a brief training course to align with our standards and expectations. Compensation for this position is based on a per-word basis, with rates assessed according to our KPI rubric. The highest available rate is $22.50 per page of 500 words for outstanding work, while most writers who have been with Coalition Technologies for one year see an average rate of $18.00 per page of 500 words. This is a freelance contract position, allowing for flexibility and independence in your work schedule.
