Sr. Product Mgr – Technical, Amazon S3

We are looking for a technical Product Manager to work backwards from customers to help define new ways to store and access data across a range of use cases, such as enterprise applications, data analytics, AI/ML, long-term digital archive, and more. You'll thrive in this role if you love technology, are able to understand complex distributed systems, work well with technical teams and customers, and have a strong sense of ownership and bias for action. Candidates must be comfortable facilitating executive-level reviews, diving deep into data, and expressing ideas through writing. Utility Computing (UC) AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services. Key job responsibilities

  • Develop detailed, crisp product definition through frequent and direct contact with customers & partners
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive consensus, and to define, execute, and roll-out features
  • Present current solutions and the roadmap to customers, including at conferences and executive briefings

The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
