Virtual School Psychologist in Alabama We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the mental health and educational growth of our students. You will provide essential psychological services aimed at helping students achieve their fullest potential. Responsibilities: • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs. • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals. • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral issues. • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed. • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving classroom management and promoting positive behaviors. • Facilitate communication between the school, parents, and external mental health professionals. • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans. • Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on topics such as child development, behavior management, and mental health awareness. • Keep accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress. • Stay current with research and best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications: • Master's or Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution. • Alabama licensure as a Psychologist optional • Active Alabama teaching certification with School Psychologist endorsement required • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting preferred. • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, educators, and administrators. • Demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent development. • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community. • Fast/reliable computer & internet connection • No Chromebooks/tablets permitted Highlights: • 1099 Position • Guaranteed Weekly Hours • Hourly Rate: $40-$45 • Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods • School hours • Clinical/Technical Team on standby If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and are excited about the possibilities of teletherapy, we invite you to apply and join our mission at ProCare Therapy.
