National Accounts Sales Associate, Dental - Hybrid - Cigna Healthcare

Role Summary Primary responsibility includes strategic account management for Dental clients with 3,000 or more benefit eligible employees. Responsible for the sales of additional products/services to existing accounts. Implements sales strategies to achieve revenue targets through selling new business to existing Dental accounts, managing account relationships, and organizing and leveraging the national accounts sales force. Responsibilities: • Manage a disciplined account engagement process which is comprised of goals, strategies to achieve goals, and tactics to support execution of strategies. • Develop deep customer relationships to facilitate intimate knowledge of our customers' objectives. • Assume role of trusted strategic consultative partner of our customers. • Articulate a consistent delivery of CIGNA's glowing value proposition as well as own responsibility to tell the CIGNA story with minimal reliance upon subject matter experts. • Demonstrate data-driven solutions-based orientation to drive results for our customers and for Cigna. • Execute successful end-to-end sales process if customer's business is placed out to bid. • Exude self-motivated ownership of metric-driven results, continually acting with a sense of urgency to ensure that results are attained, if not exceeded. • Demonstrate internal and external leadership. • Champion perpetual change within Cigna to ensure that we anticipate market trends and offer industry-leading products and services. • Embrace culture of learning and continuous improvement. • Manage dental client books of business; as experience grows may include a small medical client. • Deepen knowledge in products and industry. • Collaborate with stakeholders, including operations, dental, reporting colleagues, and more. • Completing on the job training and shadows with assigned Senior NAE mentor. • Obtain and maintain necessary insurance licenses. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience. • Excellent communications; verbal, written, presentations, and listening. • Effective critical thinking, problem solving and influencing skills. • Demonstrated ability to manage a disciplined account engagement process which is comprised of goals, strategies to achieve goals, and tactics to support execution of strategies. • Demonstrated ability to be a trusted strategic consultative partner of our customers • Demonstrated understanding of health care business and the value proposition for customers and clients. • A high degree of honesty and integrity. • Ability to prioritize projects and to handle multiple demands simultaneously. • Ability to obtain necessary licenses. • Ability to travel as needed to meet goals.
