About the position The 2025 "Career Arc" Returnship Program at Societe Generale is a six-month paid internship designed for professionals looking to re-enter the workforce after a career gap. Participants will gain broad exposure to various trading desks within the Global Markets division, engaging with clients across multiple sectors. Responsibilities • Gain exposure to various trading desks within the Global Markets division. , • Engage with clients including banks, hedge funds, insurers, pension funds, and corporate accounts. , • Participate in areas such as sales, trading, structuring, derivatives strategy, or prime services within Equities or Fixed Income. Requirements • A minimum of a 2-year career gap. , • Strong knowledge in prime services, equities, fixed income, commodities, and/or credit markets. , • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. , • Strong background in financial markets products. , • Minimum of 4 years of industry experience, with a maximum of 10 years. Nice-to-haves • Last Corporate Title of Vice President, Executive Director, Director, or Managing Director. , • Preferred education background in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or Math. , • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg Terminal.
