Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls from healthcare members and providers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Simultaneously answer calls and type information into our computer system, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry.
  • Maintain web camera visibility during work hours, as required.
  • Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with members, providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to address complex issues and provide solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Meet productivity and performance standards, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Basic knowledge of personal computers and software applications.
  • Strong reading comprehension and writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Call center experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30-35 words per minute.
  • Experience with healthcare software and systems.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with a focus on productivity and performance.
  • Basic technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems.
