Interim Senior Manager of Revenue and Technical Accounting Our client, a dynamic software company, is seeking an Interim Senior Manager of Revenue and Technical Accounting to cover an upcoming parental leave. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in managing revenue recognition processes and providing technical accounting expertise. The role is fully remote and accommodates any U.S. working timezone, offering flexibility and a chance to work with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth initiatives. Responsibilities • Act as the subject matter expert on revenue matters, including contract reviews, structuring non-standard transactions, and assessing new product offerings. • Implement and manage revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606 and applicable accounting policies. • Build collaborative relationships with teams across the organization (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and FP&A) to support deal negotiations and operational process enhancements. • Support financial reporting and external audit requirements, including revenue reconciliations and disclosures. Requirements • CPA with 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, including SaaS revenue recognition. • Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606, with proven experience in applying technical accounting principles. • At least 2 years of experience managing teams. • Familiarity with mid-market ERPs and Salesforce (NetSuite experience is a plus).
