Piedmont Global Language Solutions (PGLS) is looking for freelance Mandarin transcribers. Job Description: Transcribe foreign language high quality audio into written English. Some files may require a small amount of written translation. You may choose to accept or decline the translation projects. All linguists will be required to complete a short assessment as part of the vetting process after the necessary clearance is granted. Requirements • 1+ year (s) of experience of translating, transcribing, or interpreting from the requested language into English. • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust background determination. • Clearance requires a background check, drug test and credit check. • Some work may be required to do in our office in Arlington, VA but most work will be done remotely.
