Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Technical Designer to help shape and bring to life a next-generation, multi-platform AAA game. This is a critical role where you'll collaborate with a passionate design team, leveraging your expertise to guide, mentor, and elevate others while pushing the boundaries of game design.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Mentor: Use your expertise in Unreal Engine to guide fellow designers, ensuring the team adheres to best practices and enhances their technical skillset. Innovative Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot challenges, delivering creative and practical solutions that move the project forward. Create & Optimize: Develop maintainable, robust content and features in Unreal Engine/Blueprint, constantly refining workflows and toolsets. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with design and development teams, writing design specifications, reviewing with stakeholders, and making data-driven adjustments. Qualifications
Expertise in Unreal Engine (Blueprint, UMG, Animation Blueprint, and gameplay systems). Strong grasp of 3D math fundamentals. Proficient in C++ programming. 2+ years in a technical design role, with at least one title shipped using Unreal Engine. Experience with multiplayer game development. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Passion for designing, building, and delivering video games. Preferred Skills Familiarity with additional programming languages like Python, C#, or Lua. Artistic and animation skills, including the ability to model, rig, and animate simple placeholder assets for early gameplay prototypes. Why Netflix?
