Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Location: Remote (Minnesota) Experience: 2 years preferred Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide services to students in Minnesota. Youll collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to deliver individualized care and help students succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities: Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create and implement personalized learning goals for students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and developmental needs are met. Adapt Curriculum: Modify teaching methods, materials, and instructional strategies to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students. Manage Classroom Behavior: Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment and address any behavioral challenges. Collaborate with Staff and Families: Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support and communication regarding student progress. Qualifications: Masters degree in Special Education. Active teaching certification in Minnesota. At least 2 years of special education experience (virtual experience is a plus).
