Job Posting Title: Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment Project Integration Manager Req ID: 10101235 Job Description: About the Role & Team Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment (ASE) Planning & Integration Team provides consistent and innovative expertise and resources in the areas of critical initiative progression, Cast experience and development, standards and policies, adherence to regulatory and safety requirements, project management, technology improvements, recognition and line of business IFP strategy development. In this full-time, salaried leadership role, you will have a strong focus on day-to-day line of business-led facility maintenance and improvements, representing ASE needs to partners and vendors to ensure project timelines and impacts are well communicated and understood. The ASE Project Integration Manager will report to the Manager, ASE Planning and Integration.

What You Will Do

Partner closely with the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park Engineering... Services and Facility Asset Management teams to support project timeline adherence, understand impacts to the ASE operation and mitigate roadblocks to successful completion Work in and around animal care areas to support projects, including in Guest areas, backstage holding areas, pools, and habitats. This could include driving, including off-road, climbing on stairs/ladders/scaffold, climbing on top of roofs, etc. Lead local project initiatives and efforts through process, strategy and execution, with a primary role to integrate at all reporting levels Remove barriers and simplify the execution of work alignment with overall business strategies Lead routine and emergency facility maintenance needs for ASE Teams Planning and strategy development for all future ASE projects, prioritizing budgetary expenses and securing funding through the IFP process Review construction plans, phasing, and logistics to ensure projects account for animal/human safety and welfare Required Qualifications & Skills Proven understanding of facility-based project management, or the impacts and requirements of working in close proximity to animal care areas Minimum one year of previous leadership experience within a project or direct report setting Understand nuances of working around animals (effect of sound, light, etc) and/or familiarity with Disney Facilities Minimum of one year full cycle project management experience focusing on strategy development, planning, and implementation Shown strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with attention to detail Flexibility in work schedule while supporting projects within three shifts Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, balance multiple projects with confirmed timelines, and adjust to an evolving business environment, while recognizing when projects need to involve multiple partners and decisions need to be made at other levels within the organization Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to facilitate strategic brainstorming with a skill to consolidate thinking into an agreed upon strategy Ability to advance critical work via an approach that is highly collaborative; maintain a strong connection to the organization through integrated thinking and partnerships Knowledge of professional service teams and their responsibilities (FAM, FOS, Maintenance, etc.) Understanding of chemical management systems Development of presentation level materials up to and including senior leadership Understanding of the requirements of regulatory organizations such as AZA, USDA, FWC, CFTOD, etc. Current or previous Disney work experience Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Additional Information Benefits and Perks: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life!
