Job Description:
As a FedEx SameDay Delivery Driver, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering packages promptly and efficiently to businesses and consumers in Kansas. You will be the face of our company and must provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
– Safe operation of company vehicles and following all company policies and procedures.
– Picking up and delivering packages to businesses and homes in a timely manner.
– Maintaining accurate logs and records of delivery activities.
– Providing excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns and inquiries professionally.
– Loading and unloading packages from vehicles, ensuring that they are properly secured.
Requirements:
– Must be at least 21 years of age.
– Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
– Must pass a background check and drug screening.
– Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 75 pounds.
– Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Education:
A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience as a delivery driver is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
