Description

As a Flight Attendant at American Airlines, you are the face of our airline and a critical part of the travel experience for our passengers. Your role involves ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all travelers while embodying the spirit of customer service excellence that has defined American Airlines for decades.

Responsibilities

– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks and ensure all safety equipment is available and in working order.

– Greet passengers warmly, assist with seating, and help with luggage stowage.

– Provide safety instructions and demonstrations to passengers.

– Address and resolve passengers’ inquiries and concerns with a professional demeanor.

– Serve beverages, meals, and snacks, and sell onboard merchandise.

– Administer and coordinate in-flight medical care as needed.

– Prepare reports on flight incidents, including safety and security issues.

Requirements

– Minimum age of 18 years.

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

– Adaptable to a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

– Able to reach overhead bins and stand for extended periods.

– Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 35 pounds.

– Must pass a rigorous background check and drug screen.

– Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.

Educational Qualifications

– High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

– Further certifications in Hospitality, Communication, or related fields are advantageous.

Experience

– Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial but not mandatory, as full paid training will be provided.
