Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated, dependable Warehouse Driver to join our logistics team at Amazon. This is a full-time position, with a competitive pay rate of $22 per hour. As a Warehouse Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to and from our warehouse. Job Description
As a Warehouse Driver, you will work within our Supply Chain team, providing essential support to our warehousing operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can move, load, and unload packages and shipments in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities
– Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
– Collect and verify delivery instructions
– Report defects, accidents, or violations
– Comply with truck driving rules and regulations
– Manage routes and meet delivery schedules
– Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
Requirements
– Valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL B)
– Proven work experience as a truck driver
– Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
– Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
– No recent moving or driving violations
– Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
– Ability to handle physical workload
– High School degree
