Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per annum

Working Hours: 40-50 hours per week

Job Description

As an LTL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from one location to another. Ensuring timely delivery, maintaining a detailed log of your driving activities, reporting any vehicle maintenance issues, and following all the necessary safety procedures are some of the key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

– Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle, adhering to all safety procedures

– Loading and unloading of cargo

– Accurate completion of all necessary paperwork

– Timely delivery of goods, often to multiple locations

– Reporting any vehicle maintenance issues immediately

– Compliance with all federal, state, and local transport laws and regulations

Requirements

– Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)

– Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience

– Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

– Knowledge of DOT regulations

– Excellent communication and time management skills

Educational Qualifications

– High School diploma or equivalent

– CDL Training from a recognized truck driving school

Experience

– Prior experience in LTL Freight delivery is highly desirable
