Registered Nurse - Home Health or Hospice - Remote

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Home Health or Hospice - Remote Location: Remote Pay: $26/hour Training Schedule: The training is four weeks long. • You will meet each week, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 5:00pm to 8:30pm (MST) for two weeks • On the third week you will meet on Thursday + one additional weekday that will be assigned by your Trainer • Your fourth week you will work two weekdays that will be assigned by your Trainer Work Schedule: Minimum 20-hour commitment per week with 10 hours on the weekend. • Three weekday shifts of 4 hours each need to be on selected days of Monday to Thursday 3:00pm to 8:00pm (MST) • Every Saturday a shift that is at least 5 hours must be selected between 8:00am to 9:00pm (MST) • Additional Weekend days can be selected Friday & Sunday between 1:00pm and 7:00pm (MST) States we are currently not entertaining applications from: Alaska, California, Connecticut, DC, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Oregon... Summary: CareXM is seeking a remote Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours telephone triage care to patients and caregivers of hospice and home health partners. This is a flexible position that offers the opportunity to work from home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Responsibilities: • Provide fast access to quality, compassionate after-hours RN telephone triage care to patients and caregivers of hospice and home health partners • Communicate with empathy and understanding, especially when callers are experiencing a difficult situation • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care instructions • Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team • Document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR) Qualifications: • RN license in a compact state (in good standing) • 4+ years of clinical nursing experience required. experience in home health, palliative, med-surg, geriatrics, ICU, ER, and/or hospice care is preferred but not required • English fluency is required. Spanish is a plus • Proficiency with computers and telecommunications equipment • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends • Must be able to work 20+ hours weekly with 10 of the 20 hours on the weekend Personal Computer Requirements: You will use your Personal Computer to work.
