Key Responsibilities of the Live Chat Support Role at arenaflex

As a Remote Customer Experience Specialist, you’ll be at the front lines of arenaflex’s customer engagement strategy. Your primary mission is to deliver fast, friendly, and effective support through our live chat platform, ensuring every customer feels heard, valued, and satisfied.

Day-to-Day Duties Include:

  • Real-Time Customer Assistance: Handle a steady stream of incoming live chat inquiries from customers across the United States, responding promptly and professionally to questions about products, services, accounts, orders, billing, and general support needs.
  • Accurate Information Delivery: Provide accurate, valid, and comprehensive information to every customer by leveraging arenaflex’s internal knowledge base, help articles, training resources, and support tools. When you don’t know an answer, you’ll know exactly how and where to find it.
  • Needs Assessment: Quickly identify and assess each customer’s unique needs, going beyond surface-level questions to understand the root cause of their concern. Your goal is not just to respond but to resolve.
  • Relationship Building: Build sustainable, trust-based relationships with customer accounts through open, transparent, and interactive communication. Repeat customers should feel like they’re chatting with a familiar friend who knows their history.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed personal performance targets as well as team-wide customer service KPIs, including response time, resolution rate, customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores, and chat handling quotas.
  • Issue Escalation: Recognize when an issue requires escalation to a senior specialist or another department, and ensure smooth handoffs with full context provided so customers don’t have to repeat themselves.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture customer feedback, recurring pain points, and emerging trends, and share insights with the broader arenaflex team to inform product, service, and process improvements.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate records of customer interactions in arenaflex’s CRM system, ensuring every conversation is documented for future reference and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Authorization to Work in the United States: Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit).
  • High School Diploma or GED: A high school degree is required. Post-secondary education is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Typing Speed: A typing speed of 50+ WPM with high accuracy is preferred to keep up with chat volume.
