About arenaflex and the Opportunity

arenaflex specializes in delivering customized customer experience (CX) and digital experience (DX) solutions to organizations that value quality, scalability, and innovation. From inbound customer support and tier-one help desk assistance to back-office processing and account management, our teams handle the conversations that keep businesses running smoothly. We believe that exceptional service is not accidental — it is built through thoughtful hiring, structured paid training, and a culture that recognizes and rewards reliability, empathy, and performance.

For this position, we are hiring full-time Remote Customer Service Representatives based in Alberta. You will work a regular schedule from a dedicated home office, receive a company-issued laptop, and complete paid training that prepares you to confidently handle a variety of inbound customer interactions. There is no resume requirement to apply — we focus on your potential, attitude, and communication style through a simple phone interview and a brief pre-employment assessment.

Compensation, Pay Structure, and Rewards

  • Hourly Rate: $15.50 CAD per hour starting, with regular performance-based raises and tenure reviews that allow you to earn more each year.
  • Bonus Potential: Hourly base pay plus bonus opportunities tied to performance, attendance, and quality.
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Incentives: Cash bonuses, prize contests, and exciting giveaways including electronics, tablets, phones, televisions, trips, tickets, and even larger rewards such as vehicles.
  • Paid Time Off: Earned PTO as well as paid holidays and paid training hours.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Following a brief waiting period, you become eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance coverage. A Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan is available after only 30 days of employment.
  • Retirement Planning: Long-term retirement savings options to help you plan your financial future.
  • Flexible Schedules: A variety of shift options designed to support work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for customers reaching out via phone. Your day will be fast-paced, varied, and deeply customer-focused. Core duties include:

  • Listening actively to customers to fully understand their questions, frustrations, and goals.
  • Resolving customer issues on the first call whenever possible through effective problem solving and clear communication.
  • Using proprietary systems and modern technology to update account records, process requests, and complete account management tasks accurately.
  • Recognizing sales opportunities during customer interactions and confidently presenting relevant upgrades, features, or process improvements.
  • Explaining products, services, and processes in simple, friendly terms so customers feel informed and confident.
  • Escalating complex or unresolved concerns to the appropriate managerial team member in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documenting each interaction thoroughly to support quality assurance, training, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining a positive, brand-aligned tone in every conversation — even when handling difficult calls.
  • Meeting individual and team performance goals related to quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity.

What You Bring — Candidate Qualifications

We welcome applications from motivated individuals who are eager to learn and ready to grow. While prior customer service experience is helpful, it is not required. We are looking for the following:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication abilities.
  • Typing Speed: Ability to type at least 20 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Technical Basics: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and a basic understanding of the Windows operating system.
  • Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and consistent attendance — qualities we deeply value at arenaflex.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Comfortable evaluating situations, troubleshooting issues, and following through until the customer is satisfied.
  • Conflict Resolution Skills: A natural aptitude for negotiation, de-escalation, and finding mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Customer Orientation: Genuinely empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious in every interaction.
  • Personal Organization: Ability to multi-task, stay focused on the conversation at hand, and self-manage your time and queue.
  • Team Mindset: Strong orientation toward collaboration, peer support, and shared success.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are part of the daily rhythm.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with both teammates and customers.

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada and reside in Alberta.
  • Must be willing to complete a Level II background and/or security investigation, which may include fingerprinting. Job offers are contingent on the outcome of this screening.
  • Must be willing to submit to drug screening. Job offers are contingent on screening results.
  • Must have a quiet, dedicated home workspace with reliable high-speed internet.
