[Remote] Sr. Project Manager, Clinical Lab Equipment Implementation (Healthcare)

The Senior Project Manager will oversee mid to large-scale installations within Clinical Laboratories, managing all aspects of project implementation and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire implementation lifecycle of mid to large-scale multi-discipline installations within Clinical Laboratory settings
  • Develop and execute instrumentation project plans, ensuring customer readiness and adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including laboratory directors, engineers, technicians, and vendors to ensure successful project implementation
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of laboratory infrastructure, and readiness requirements to recommend appropriate instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions timeline
  • Oversee the procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices

Skills

  • B.S. Degree with preference for 5 years of Project Management experience with proven track record in managing projects, and be able to provide examples and project artifacts, ie. Communication Plans, Project Plans, Risk Plans, etc
  • Advanced understanding of the Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with a heavy emphasis on the Laboratory Regulatory environment
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Project Management software such as Smartsheet
  • Experience reading and interpreting floor plans and design drawings
  • Willing and able to work out of home-based office and travel around 80% of the time
  • Ability to travel Monday-Friday 80% nationally
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Construction and IT experience in Project Management
  • Background in Medical Technology and work experience
  • Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA)
