Join arenaflex: Where Precision Meets Purpose in Supporting Educators' Futures

arenaflex is a mission-driven organization dedicated to advocating for dignified retirement for all public school district employees. With deep roots in the education community—being family-owned and operated by individuals whose children attend public schools and whose family members serve as educators and administrators—arenaflex understands firsthand the invaluable contributions of teachers, administrators, classified staff, and confidential employees. Our organization delivers no-cost, product-neutral Retirement Education to districts across the country, empowering every category of district personnel to make well-informed decisions about their financial futures.

At arenaflex, we believe that educators deserve comprehensive support, not just during their careers but throughout their retirement planning journey. Our commitment to providing timely, high-quality retirement education means that every interaction we have with district employees must be backed by accurate, reliable data. This is why we are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Entry Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our data systems, ensuring that the information supporting retirement education programs is accurate, current, and accessible to those who rely on it most.

About the Role

The Data Entry Agent at arenaflex is far more than a traditional administrative position. It is a vital operational role that directly supports our mission of delivering exceptional retirement education services to public school districts. As a Data Entry Agent, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining sensitive pension-related data that informs retirement education sessions, district reporting, and compliance activities. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that educators and district employees receive the highest quality service possible.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, thrives in a structured yet collaborative environment, and wants their daily work to contribute to something meaningful. Whether you are an experienced data professional or someone looking to build a career in data management within the education sector, arenaflex offers a supportive environment where your skills will be valued and developed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pension Data Management: Accurately enter and update teacher pension data into arenaflex's proprietary database systems, ensuring all records reflect the most current information available from district partners and educational institutions.
  • Data Verification and Quality Assurance: Review and verify all entered data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, flagging any discrepancies for prompt resolution and maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain and update existing data records on an ongoing basis, ensuring that all information remains current, correct, and aligned with evolving district requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Report Generation and Distribution: Prepare, generate, and distribute various reports as required by management, district partners, and internal stakeholders, presenting data in clear, organized formats that support decision-making processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all data processing activities comply with arenaflex's internal policies, industry best practices, and relevant federal and state regulations governing pension data and employee information.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members, other departments, and external district contacts to identify and resolve any data discrepancies, fostering a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Documentation Excellence: Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all data processing activities, creating an audit trail that supports transparency, accountability, and operational continuity.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency within the data management function.
  • Confidentiality Assurance: Handle all sensitive employee and pension information with the utmost confidentiality and integrity, adhering strictly to data protection protocols and privacy standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications in data management, business administration, or related fields are highly valued and considered a plus.
  • Professional Experience: Previous experience in data entry, data processing, or administrative support is preferred, though candidates with strong aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel for data manipulation and analysis. Familiarity with database management systems and data entry software is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain high levels of accuracy even when working with large volumes of data or under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and data privacy.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with pension, retirement, or financial data systems.
  • Familiarity with education sector data, including certificated and classified employee classifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations governing employee benefits and retirement plans.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms or specialized data management tools.
  • Typing speed of 50 words per minute or higher with a high degree of accuracy.

Skills and Competencies for Success

To excel as a Data Entry Agent at arenaflex, you will need to demonstrate a unique blend of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Strong computer literacy is fundamental, as you will work with various software applications and database systems daily. Analytical thinking will help you identify patterns, spot inconsistencies, and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Time management skills are crucial for balancing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.

Beyond technical skills, we value individuals who embody our core principles: a commitment to educational excellence, respect for the contributions of educators, and dedication to supporting the broader mission of dignified retirement for all district employees. Adaptability and a willingness to learn new systems and processes will serve you well as our organization continues to grow and evolve.

At arenaflex, we believe that investing in our team members is just as important as investing in the educators we serve. As a Data Entry Agent, you will have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, including training in advanced data management techniques, industry-specific software, and best practices in pension and retirement data handling. We support career advancement within the organization, with many of our team members progressing into roles such as Data Analyst, Operations Coordinator, or Retirement Education Specialist.
