[Remote] ServiceNow Software Engineer V
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. is currently hiring for a ServiceNow Software Engineer V for their premier client in Virtual, Ohio. The role involves implementing and configuring ServiceNow Certificate Management and requires strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and configuration.
Responsibilities
- Implement and configure ServiceNow Certificate Management to support centralized certificate discovery, inventory, lifecycle tracking, renewal, revocation, and expiration management
- Configure certificate hierarchies, metadata, ownership models, and lifecycle states aligned to Information Security requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and configuration, including scripted logic, workflows/flows, integrations, and reporting
- Experience implementing ServiceNow Security Operations or Certificate Management modules (preferred)
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, and credential management
- Solid understanding of certificate lifecycle management
- Familiarity with Information Security frameworks
- Understanding of certificate expiration risks, key management practices, and audit expectations in regulated environments
- Support knowledge transfer and documentation to enable operational support and future-state ownership
- Participate in platform design discussions to support postquantum crypto readiness where applicable
Skills
- 7+ years of ServiceNow engineering or development experience
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and configuration, including scripted logic, workflows/flows, integrations, and reporting
- Solid understanding of certificate lifecycle management
- Familiarity with Information Security frameworks
- Understanding of certificate expiration risks, key management practices, and audit expectations in regulated environments
- Support knowledge transfer and documentation to enable operational support and future-state ownership
- Participate in platform design discussions to support postquantum crypto readiness where applicable
- Experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments
- Experience implementing ServiceNow Security Operations or Certificate Management modules
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, and credential management
