[Remote] Advancement Systems Analyst Senior PD

The Sr. Advancement Systems Analyst is responsible for providing strategic, data-driven insights to enhance fundraising strategies and manage database systems to optimize philanthropic efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and forecasts that will shape fundraising strategies and drive philanthropic success
  • Developing and implementing a cohesive strategy for analytics to inform strategic decisions, planning and resource allocation
  • Developing predictive models to forecast donor behavior and optimize fundraising efforts for all Cottage Health foundations
  • Working with various, often large, data sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, and APIs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
  • Developing, implementing, and managing Advancement’s database systems
  • Providing day-to-day operational systems analysis and validation, troubleshooting system failures, analyzing planning/capacity results, formulating and suggesting system enhancements, and maintaining data health
  • Leading the business design process, and supporting implementation of data standards, policies, and procedures
  • Providing training and support to the end-user community

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education following the standard two years of experience is equivalent to one year of education
  • Extensive experience with Blackbaud's products, including The Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud NetCommunity
  • Experience with data modeling and report development, including SQL and Power BI
  • Five years of previous database experience
  • Experience working with business intelligence reporting tools
