[Remote] Project Manager II - Data Centers

Vertech is a company that develops world class industrial automation solutions for top US companies, and they are seeking a Project Manager II for their Data Centers. The role involves ensuring the profitable and successful delivery of automation projects while managing client expectations, budget, schedule, and scope.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the profitable and successful delivery of automation projects
  • Establish and maintain plans for the success of automation projects including scope, schedule, cash-flow, budget, and client satisfaction
  • Monitor and direct the work of project team members
  • Communicate status with clients
  • Negotiate change orders with clients
  • Manage client expectations
  • Work with accounting on project financials, progress for revenue recognition and invoicing

Skills

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferably in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or equivalent experience (2+ years)
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Industrial Automation industry
  • At least 2 years of Data Center experience
