[Remote] Engineering Manager

They are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and deliver secure, high-quality systems that power their business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a cross-functional engineering team across software, platform, and integration disciplines
  • Own planning, prioritization, and delivery of engineering initiatives across applications and enterprise systems
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into cohesive technical solutions
  • Oversee the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and well-tested systems
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, including CI/CD, DevOps practices, and secure development
  • Ensure reliable integrations across internal and third-party systems using API-driven architectures
  • Manage sprint planning, resource allocation, and release governance
  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching and career development planning
  • Promote cross-training, documentation, and shared ownership to reduce risk
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance performance and scalability

Skills

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex initiatives
  • Experience with modern development methodologies (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps) and proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platforms, workflow automation tools, and API-driven integrations
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and scalable architecture principles
  • Experience leading engineering teams across both application development and platform environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
