As a key team member, you will efficiently handle incoming phone calls, scheduling tasks, and online leads, creating a positive experience for every caller. Bilingual English/Spanish speakers are preferred. Schedule: Full-time, 30+ hours. Monday through Friday: 10:30 am to 7 pm. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Cultivate a professional and welcoming atmosphere, elevating the quality of service for patients, providers, and colleagues. Lead by example, maintaining a professional office presence and the highest level of professionalism. Adhere to good personal hygiene and business casual attire standards. Practice professional body language and communication, keeping cell phone usage to a minimum. Execute working knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws, ensuring patient information confidentiality during calls. Answer incoming calls promptly, schedule appointments, take messages, and triage to the appropriate department or provider. Thoroughly triage visit reasons, confirm insurance participation, and inform patients of appointment requirements. Accurately triage and submit requests for prescriptions, lab results, and medical record releases according to protocol. Maintain constant attention to the email inbox, handling time-sensitive emails promptly. Document necessary notes within patient charts/appointments in real-time. Demonstrate initiative and superior customer service in problem-solving, escalating complex issues appropriately. Gain proficiency in provider specialties, biographies, and appointment durations. Train with the Operations Manager as needed to enhance call handling and company knowledge skills. Maintain a neat and orderly work area.

Qualifications

Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent patient relations and customer service skills. Computer savvy, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Engaging and professional communicator with excellent phone and writing etiquette. Ability to meet remote work requirements, including reliable internet service and a quiet work environment. Availability to work weekends on a rotating schedule. Experience Using EMR Software And Patient Scheduling Systems Preferred. Prior experience in dermatology or medical environments is advantageous.
