Position Overview – Strategic Customer Engagement Deal Lead
arenaflex is seeking an experienced, high‑energy professional to join the Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team as a Deal Lead. In this pivotal role, you will own the end‑to‑end deal cycle for large, complex, and highly competitive opportunities across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ regions. You will partner directly with C‑level executives, IT leaders, and multiple lines of business to craft actionable strategies, shape compelling value propositions, and drive negotiations toward successful closures. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Deal Management
- Lead negotiations and guide customers through the closure of strategic, large‑scale, and highly competitive deals.
- Develop and refine the overall deal strategy, ensuring alignment with the customer’s business outcomes and long‑term goals.
- Collaborate with arenaflex field sales executives to co‑create commercial strategies that maximize value for both the customer and arenaflex.
- Design pricing and discount structures, identify potential deal blockers, and proactively mitigate risks.
- Present and articulate deal proposals to senior stakeholders, translating technical capabilities into clear business benefits.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with regional sales teams, service organizations, finance, legal, and other global stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of complex deals.
- Act as a trusted advisor, influencing internal experts and resources that are not under direct control to remove obstacles and accelerate decision‑making.
- Coordinate with product, solution architecture, and engineering teams to tailor arenaflex offerings to specific customer challenges.
Customer Advocacy & Growth Enablement
- Earn and maintain trust with C‑level executives and IT leaders by delivering strategic insights and actionable roadmaps.

- Identify opportunities for private pricing, go‑to‑market collaborations, and pan‑arenaflex initiatives that deepen the partnership.

Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or complex deal leadership within the technology or cloud industry.
- Proven track record of closing multi‑year, high‑value contracts (>$10 M) with Fortune 500 or equivalent large‑scale customers.
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and related enterprise technology stacks.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and articulate technical concepts in business terms.
