Senior Curriculum Developer - Remote

Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Curriculum Developer to contribute to their innovative educational programs. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise in instructional design and curriculum creation from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and revising engaging and effective learning materials for various age groups and educational contexts. Key responsibilities include translating learning objectives into comprehensive curricula, including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and instructional strategies. You will conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and determine appropriate content and pedagogical approaches. Collaborating with subject matter experts, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy, relevance, and pedagogical soundness of curriculum materials is crucial. Developing engaging and interactive digital learning content, including e-learning modules, multimedia resources, and online activities, will be a core function. You will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of existing curricula and making data-driven revisions to improve learning outcomes. Staying current with research in child development, learning theory, and educational technology to inform curriculum design is essential. Managing multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope, will require strong project management skills. This role involves extensive virtual collaboration with team members and stakeholders, utilizing various digital tools for communication and project management. The ability to create inclusive and culturally responsive learning experiences is a must. Qualifications include a Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience will also be considered. A minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational program development, preferably within the childcare or early education sector. Proven ability to design and develop high-quality, engaging learning materials for diverse audiences. Strong understanding of adult learning principles, child development theories, and effective pedagogical strategies. Proficiency in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS) is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. Experience in early childhood education is a significant advantage.
