[Remote] Senior Manager (Infrastructure & Cloud)

They are seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud to lead the design, implementation, and operation of their global infrastructure environment while managing a team of infrastructure engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global Infrastructure & Cloud function supporting a modern, cloud-first enterprise environment
- Manage and mentor a team of systems, cloud, and network engineers
- Establish operational standards, engineering practices, and infrastructure governance
- Own enterprise infrastructure within Microsoft Azure
- Design and manage Azure networking, compute, storage, security, monitoring, and resiliency
- Manage physical server and virtualization infrastructure including VMware
- Oversee enterprise networking, DNS, connectivity, and core infrastructure services
- Drive automation, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives
- Partner with Security and IAM teams on secure infrastructure design
- Manage vendors, MSPs, and infrastructure transformation initiatives
- Support carve-out and migration activities to independent IT operations
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and operations
- 3+ years of experience managing technical infrastructure teams
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure
- Strong experience with VMware and physical server environments
- Knowledge of enterprise networking fundamentals and infrastructure security
- Experience operating hybrid cloud/on-prem enterprise environments
- Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
- Experience in carve-outs, M&A integrations, or infrastructure transformations
- Experience supporting global enterprise environments
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and cloud governance practices
- Relevant Azure, VMware, or ITIL certifications
