[Remote] Clinical Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Solventum is a new healthcare company dedicated to improving lives through innovative solutions. The Clinical Analyst role involves utilizing clinical nursing knowledge to analyze data from electronic health records and providing support for clinical products through Natural Language Processing.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing clinical nursing knowledge to identify relevant clinical data from electronic health record (EHR) documents
  • Providing content support to Solventum end-user products by applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) in a clinical setting
  • Supporting informatics and technical requirements for continuous improvement of the design and content of Solventum clinical products
  • Educate and coordinate content utilization with other Solventum departments and customers

Skills

  • Associate's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in Nursing (AS RN, BSN RN) AND six (6) years of clinical practice/experience
  • Active RN license
  • Master's degree in biomedical or nursing informatics
  • Experience working with clinical terminology standards (e.g. SNOMED CT, LOINC and RxNorm) or in clinical Natural Language Processing (NLP) in healthcare
  • CCDS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist) from ACDIS or CDIP (Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner) from AHIMA certification or Two (2) years CDI equivalency
  • Good communication, oral presentation and writing skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work well within a fully remote team
