They are seeking an Environmental Engineer to guide water utility designs and ensure compliance across regional initiatives, while leading modern conservation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the design and execution of major water infrastructure initiatives, including advanced wastewater treatment systems and regional water resource management
  • Construct complex predictive models and spatial maps utilizing SWMM, HEC software packages, and ArcGIS to inform critical project planning and data analysis
  • Generate precise technical layouts and blueprints by leveraging AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Mechanical CAD platforms
  • Orchestrate full project lifecycles, maintaining ownership over delivery timelines, budgetary constraints, and key milestones
  • Direct field operations and site assessments, overseeing data acquisition, geotechnical evaluations, permitting strategies, and construction quality control
  • Navigate regulatory frameworks to secure environmental permits, align designs with EPA standards, and supervise environmental remediation efforts
  • Partner with multidisciplinary consultant panels to resolve intricate environmental law, regulatory reporting, and site restoration challenges
  • Analyze industrial system impacts by researching how localized manufacturing processes or oil and gas operations interact with municipal water networks
  • Author thorough project documentation, translating field data into polished technical reports and flawless regulatory filings

Skills

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an active, valid registration
  • Utility infrastructure background, showing strong experience handling water/wastewater treatment processes and hydrology projects
  • Technical software fluency, specifically with modeling applications (SWMM, HEC) and engineering design suites (ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Mechanical CAD)
  • Adaptable project driver who can seamlessly coordinate multiple moving parts, client relations, and shifting project schedules
  • Compliance strategist well-versed in environmental law, EPA compliance mandates, and complex permitting workflows
  • Field-capable professional with practical insights into geotechnical engineering principles and hands-on construction oversight
  • Collaborative communicator who excels at translating technical data for corporate clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (No visa sponsorship or transfer available)
  • Mechanical aptitude concerning specialized manufacturing processes or water distribution equipment
