TV Analyst

ASCAP is a membership association representing songwriters, composers, and music publishers. The TV Analyst is responsible for assisting the TV Distribution team in processing audio and visual programming to ensure ASCAP members are credited accurately for their works in media.

Responsibilities

• Identify and match cue sheets to performances
• Request missing or incomplete cue sheets from suppliers
• Upload missing performances to the performance database
• Reconcile the station count and any informational discrepancies within performance data
• Verify cue sheet content
• Assign and create work records for cues
• Control check work records and performances that have been matched by 3rd party vendors
• Integrate music video programming into distribution
• Assist with the timely resolution of member-initiated inquiries

Skills

• 1+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong analytical skills and basic research adeptness
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
• Skilled at handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and internet applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter, independent, and self-sufficient
• Ability to work and interact with team members on a remote basis
• Ability to connect and communicate with people at all levels of business and management
• Performs with both a positive attitude and commitment to being a team player
• This position requires the incumbent to be in the office one day per week
• Bachelor's degree preferred, relevant work experience accepted
• Interest in music, music licensing, and/or the TV and Film industry is preferred
