Learn more at experianplc.com DescriptionReporting to the Sr Director, Software Engineering you will:Architecture LeadershipGuide the architecture vision for D2C platforms with a mobile-first and AI-native mindsetDefine roadmaps across mobile and web with emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and rapid experimentationChampion modern patterns including micro frontends, server-driven UI (SDUI), BFF, and serverless systemsApply enterprise architecture principles and standards while balancing near-term delivery and long-term platform goalsBuild for leverage by creating reusable frameworks, automation, and internal tooling to accelerate teamsIntegrate AI into every layer of architecture to support thoughtful, agentic system design.Platform and Technical LeadershipLead technical design across consumer products and internal platformsShape cohesive end-to-end architecture spanning APIs, services, and frontendsGuide strategic areas such as identity, content delivery, personalization, and A/B testingSupport agent-based automation and apply MCP to promote scalable AI workflowsEnsure, security, observability, and operational excellence across systemsCollaboration and InfluenceBe a technical partner across product, data, cybersecurity, and platform teamsMentor engineers and architects across domainsPromote adoption of tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and LLM-integrated workflowsAdvance system-level thinking and reusability through shared scaffolds and frameworksInnovation and Organizational ImpactLead the Exponential Engineer Initiative to grow AI-first engineering through reusable agents, automation, and internal platformsPromote agent-based design, prompt abstraction, and developer enablement across teamsEvaluate and apply latest technologies, especially Generative AI, to improve engineering and results. Qualifications8+ years in software engineering, with 5+ in architecture or principal rolesExperience with mobile (iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin) and web (React, Angular) platformsExpertise in microservices, GraphQL, API-first design, and AWS-native systemsFamiliarity with SDUI, distributed systems, and resilient architectureOperational experience in monitoring, observability, and incident responseBackground in consumer tech domains like credit, personal finance, or marketplacesExperience with headless CMS, rules engines, experimentation, and personalizationExperience with AI agent design, LLM orchestration (such as MCP), and integration of AI tools into developer workflowsProficiency or active use of GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and prompt-based development toolsExperience in developer enablement, automation platforms, or engineering transformation initiatives. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
