Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers, running the register, and providing excellent customer care in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Leading shifts on a regular basis, gaining valuable entry-level management experience and developing your leadership skills
  • Working collaboratively with your team to maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers
  • Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service
  • Interacting with customers daily, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Working as part of a high-energy team to accomplish daily tasks and goals, while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment
  • Coming up with creative solutions to problems, thinking on your feet, and offering suggestions to improve our store operations and customer experience
  • Leading a team of employees, providing guidance and support, and helping them to develop their skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • A strong sales background, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer care
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their best
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and development
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Retail and customer service experience, with a focus on sales and customer care
  • Entry-level management experience, with a proven track record of leading a team and achieving results
  • Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer needs
  • A degree or certification in a related field, such as business or marketing

Physical Requirements

As a Lead Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to:

  • Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with the ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level, with the ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift, with the ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to think on your feet and respond to changing situations
