Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering groceries and essentials to our customers in Ipswich and surrounding areas. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries, and resolving any issues that may arise
• Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to health and safety standards
• Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle, ensuring that all items are delivered in good condition
• Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner, building relationships and providing a positive experience
• Working independently, managing your time effectively, and meeting deadlines
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and any issues that may arise

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
• A clean driving record, with no history of serious driving offenses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• A strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and make change
• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service, with a commitment to building relationships and providing a positive experience
