Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers, running the register, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Making purchase suggestions and working with our food program to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Leading shifts on a regular basis, gaining valuable entry-level management experience
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to arenaflex's high standards for store appearance
  • Providing fast and friendly service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Interacting with customers daily, building relationships, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborating with a fun and energetic team to accomplish daily tasks and goals
  • Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance, ensuring seamless store operations

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and offer creative solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on customer service and sales experience
  • Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds
  • Physical stamina to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with the ability to bend, twist, and grasp objects with hands

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:

  • Entry-level management experience, with a proven track record of success
  • Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a focus on driving sales and customer engagement
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on customer service and sales experience

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

As a Lead Customer Service Representative, you'll need to:

  • Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level, with occasional lifting and carrying
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds, with the ability to bend and twist
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, with a focus on eye-hand coordination
  • Occasionally climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
