Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain organization of client files, including login information, out of office responders, date stamps, and mail organization
  • Enter data into Excel spreadsheets, organize paperwork, and file documents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Match checks to bills, send email reminders, and update distribution lists as needed
  • Use multiple monitors to efficiently manage tasks and projects
  • Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and management to maintain a positive image and provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform data entry tasks for accounts receivable and accounts payable, including scanning documents into the computer
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including testing, background checks, and drug screenings

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • 6 months of experience as a bookkeeper assistant or office assistant
  • Bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience is a plus and will help advance your career quickly
  • Experience with accounts receivable and payables is a plus
  • Excellent social skills, attention to detail, and excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be an independent self-starter
  • Fluency in English is required, with Spanish a bonus
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background test
