The Role

As a Customer Service Representative – Union Benefits Specialist, you will play a critical role in educating members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including police departments, firefighters, teachers, postal workers, and other labor unions.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to members, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner

  • Educate members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless delivery of benefits
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling benefits to members
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve customer service and sales performance

Requirements for Consideration

* Flexible hours to accommodate clients and team members across different time zones

  • Fluency in English (bilingual in any language is a plus, but not required)
  • Proven customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Experience working in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the benefits industry

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience
