Amerit Fleet Solutions, a trusted nationwide leader of fleet maintenance solutions, is seeking a growth-minded and mission-driven SEO Specialist to join our Marketing team!

The SEO Specialist will be an early-career digital marketer ready to blend content creation, keyword strategy, and performance analytics to drive measurable organic growth across Amerit Fleet Solutions and its family of brands. This is a hands-on, content-focused role. You'll focus on content optimization, metadata management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration on our Marketing team, supporting Sales and Operations.

You'll work closely with a small, collaborative team—meaning real ownership, direct visibility with leadership, and the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work on company performance. Location: Remote (United States) 

Preference for candidates located in the Charlotte, NC area

Compensation: Competitive salary—paid weekly, every Friday! Salary range: $60,000–$70,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

On-Page SEO & Content Optimization

• Write and optimize SEO page titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, and copy across the Amerit website and our additional brand sites
• Conduct keyword research using BrightEdge to identify high-value opportunities aligned to user intent
• Own on-page SEO efforts including internal linking to improve page authority and user navigation
• Identify content gaps and recommend opportunities that support business goals
• Edit and resize images using Canva or similar design tools and upload to the website

Content Creation & Strategy

• Produce SEO-optimized landing pages, core service pages, and supporting marketing content
• Create personalized website experiences based on visitor industry, company size, and other demographic signals to improve relevance and drive qualified leads
• Support our PR media and content partnerships with backlink initiatives
• Partner with paid search and paid social to ensure content strategy is aligned
• Leverage AI tools to support content summarization, ideation, and creation workflows
• Optimize content to target AI search engines and improve visibility in AI-driven results with clear, structured content

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor core KPIs including traffic, keyword rankings, form submissions, and engagement metrics
• Build performance reports leveraging BrightEdge, Google Analytics, Search Console, Excel, and Google Sheets
• Translate SEO data into clear, actionable insights for leadership, including internal presentations

Key Competencies and Minimum Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing
• Demonstrated experience creating and editing content for websites
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Excel/Google Sheets, Word, and WordPress or similar CMS platforms
• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging, SEO-informed content
• Analytical mindset with comfort working with performance data and metrics
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A fast learner who is eager to pick up new tools and dive into the exciting world of fleet!

Nice to have, but not required:

• Experience with SEO tools, including BrightEdge, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
• Experience with AI tools for content summarization and creation (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
• Experience building performance reports
• Exposure to link-building or digital PR initiatives
• Basic familiarity with HTML or CSS
