[Remote] Divisional Accounts Receivable Specialist

The role of Divisional Accounts Receivable Specialist involves managing the daily Accounts Receivable process, generating reports, and collaborating with teams to resolve outstanding items.
Responsibilities
- Generates and send monthly accounts receivable reports
- Handles requests for information on account corrections, premium finance and/or transfers
- Conducts special research, analysis, and reconciliation projects as assigned
- Follows up on accounting problems that arise within the scope of the position
- Analyzes data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed
- Provides assistance across teams in resolution of outstanding receivables
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One (1) or more years of accounts receivable or administrative experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Basic knowledge of accounting terms
- Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
