Responsibilities

As a Customer Development Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for creating and delivering insights and recommendations using various data sources. This will involve monitoring the field execution of vendor programs, staying informed of analytic best practices across the industry, and analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions. You will also be responsible for tracking category performance, including sales, profits, margins, and market share, and developing, communicating, executing, and monitoring performance metrics and goals. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and delivering effective reports using POS data and syndicated data
  • Analyzing supply chain to evaluate and recommend supplier performance
  • Understanding and applying customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data
  • Ensuring superior client satisfaction through deep analytics and team problem solving
  • Collaborating with external retail customers and key suppliers to drive business growth and customer satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful as a Customer Development Manager at arenaflex, you will need to have a strong foundation in business fundamentals and business finance, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills. You will also need to have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree and experience within the CPG sector; Adult Beverage preferred
  • Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations
  • Expertise in category management principles and shopper/consumer insights
  • High level understanding of Category Management processes and practices
  • Assertive leadership and decision-making skills with high energy
  • Preferred experience with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI) and Internal Shipment Data
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves

While not required, experience in the Adult Beverage industry, familiarity with market research methodologies, and the ability to collaborate with external retail customers and key suppliers will be highly valued.
