Your Role

As an Experienced Full Stack Engineering Manager, you'll lead the execution of technical solutions in our customer delivery projects, bringing together engineering rigor and real-world problem-solving. You'll be responsible for customizing and integrating arenaflex's platform into the complex environments of some of the world's largest financial institutions. Your team will be focused on client implementations, and you'll act as a technical reference and a servant leader, ensuring your team is equipped, trained, and set up for success – both technically and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead technical delivery: Own the engineering execution of client implementations from design to deployment, ensuring scalability, stability, and maintainability of custom solutions.

  • Be hands-on: Act as a Technical Lead where needed – participating in solution design, code reviews, and critical debugging, especially for complex or high-risk client needs.
  • Support the team: Hire, coach, and grow software engineers and technical consultants; build a high-performing, motivated, and accountable team culture.
  • Bridge the field and the product: Understand customer requirements and constraints; propose scalable solutions that align with arenaflex's product and architecture guidelines.
  • Drive engineering standards: Implement and uphold best practices, technical quality controls, and delivery consistency across regions and teams.
  • Continuously improve: Contribute to the evolution of delivery frameworks, toolkits, and reusable components that accelerate integration efforts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Risk & AI, and Project Management teams to align on priorities, unblock issues, and coordinate execution.

You Have and You Know How

* Technical depth: 5+ years of software engineering (Java preferred) or DevOps experience, with deep knowledge of modern software development practices.

  • Leadership experience: 2+ years leading technical teams in customer-facing environments, ideally with global or distributed teams.
  • Client orientation: Proven experience delivering complex integrations in demanding, regulated environments, ideally in Financial Services.
  • Process mindset: Ability to define and evolve engineering practices that improve execution predictability, quality, and speed.
  • Strong communication skills: Adept at translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Empowering leadership: A track record of coaching and developing engineers, driving ownership and accountability.
  • Leading teams of 6–12 engineers in a matrix and delivery-focused setup.
  • Familiarity with system integration, data pipelines, and real-time event processing.
  • Understanding of project management lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Experience working in a product-led company delivering client-specific customizations.

The Customer Success Team

The Customer Success Team is responsible for delivering our product to our clients. This includes education, configuration, solution development, and risk strategy to enable our clients to address their pain points. We collaborate with our clients to ensure they have the right solution, build out a strategy and training plan for them, and then support them through each phase of our client lifecycle.
